Well, Lutine returned from an exciting Cowes week and is now prepared and ready to go on her Fastnet jaunt. The forecast is looking pretty light - but we have sailed in some very light or even non-existent winds this season, so the crew are ready for it.
It's 06:45 - and there are patches of blue sky, so I think that we're going to need loads of sun tan lotion today. Our start is at 1300, and by all accounts we have a fair few supporters out to see us either on the water or at Hurst Castle - let's just hope that we reach there before the tide changes!!!
Well, all this is supposition at the moment: let's see what happens.
