One of the questions that I'm always asked is "Are there waterproofs on board?" You'll be pleased to know that there are loads on board.....and may well be needed if the summer continues in this ridiculous manner!

Another one is "I don't have much sailing experience - is that ok?" For club weekends this is absolutley fine - there are all kinds of members who go sailing, some old and some new, and there is always a qualified skipper on board - or the boat doesn't go out!

Some further questions that could be asked might be along the lines of:-

1) Do you offer specific sailing courses? Answer might be along the lines of - The club does not offer specific courses that would lead to a qualfication, however, certain races (i.e. The Fastnet) require crew to meet certain standards such as those contained within Section 6 of the ISAF Offshore Special Regulations. Where possible the club would arrange for a course to be run/attended that would satisfy the appropriate regulation.

2) Can I invite non-members to sail on Lutine?

3) What sort of clothing / footwear do I need to sail on Lutine?
