Unfortunately there was no update from Lutine last night - as well as being busy racing (now pulling ahead of Hot Stuff on corrected time as well), clearly the crew had other distractions, as per the news on the Fastnet Website:
The Lloyd's Yacht Club's Swan 53, Lutine, has raced in countless Fastnet races including this one but the yacht had a first in this year's Rolex Fastnet Race; as they rounded the famous rock, Andrew Jameson ‘popped the question' to Liz Lotz, another one for the record books; she said "Yes."
Many congratulations to Liz and Andy!!!!!
Don't forget you are there to race though guys!

At 1400 it looks as though they are in the doldrums. Lutine is reading 0 knots, HS reading 1 knot.

Isn't the tracker system in real time? At 1400 I looked at the tracker and read their speeds. Or am I missing something?

I think their tracker has died. As at 6.30 pm it is showing them having made a warp shift from 2/3rds of the way down the fleet to just off Plymouth - yet dropping to last place. I just hope it is dodgy equipment and not a real problem with the boat.

There have been quite a few NL's in the race so am sure it's not a major issue - RAN went NL for a while and it didn't harm her position!!!

The tracker updates hourly - the times are also GMT just to add to the confusion
Lutine now moving again, and looks to be in about the right place, but the distances are still out Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Rock around the Rock!

Very strange. HS at 39th place. Lutine at the back of the fleet. (56).
